My wife suggested to me recently that every shot doesn't have to have clouds, or fog in them. This one is for her. Here is a classic October sunrise in Santa Cruz at Its Beach last Saturday. A compressed fog deck flowed in and out through out the morning. This shot was captured during a brief moment as the flog retreated. I had fun on this shoot with flckr friend Sam Post. There were a lot of great moments during that morning, but this capture was my favorite.
A photographer's dilemma: planning to shoot a rare super moon/ lunar eclipse while at the same time an incredible sunset is going off behind you. After a while It became obvious that the clouds weren't going to cooperate with the super moon, so with a minute to spare I ran down the cliff, and captured a few shots before all the color in the sky disappeared.
