Last Saturday looked good for an explosive sunset as beautiful clouds rolled into the Bay Area. Unfortunately due a large fog bank off the coast, the sunset colors didn’t catch fire. It was a bit of a disappointment to have muted colors for sunset, but things started looking good again as twilight approached. Altocumulus clouds floated above, and fog began developing directly behind the city. It all made for a great scene.
Tomorrow the bridge closes, and when it reopens on Tuesday, the new eastern span will finally be open!
